3-WineValley
For all the deserved praise heaped upon tracks like Palouse Ridge and Gold MountainÕs Olympic Course, Wine Valley was the only track that gave voters pause when making their choice for No. 1, receiving the only first-place votes not given to Chambers Bay.

Which, in our opinion, it well, should. When we made a site visit in 2012 as part of our, ahem, “research” for our 2012 bracket contest, we were blown away by the entire Wine Valley experience — the wild contours of the fairways and greens, the impeccable course conditioning and the creative hole designs make for an unforgettable golf experience. If you haven’t yet played Wine Valley, you owe it to yourself to make the trip before the season ends this fall. Who knows — with a few more voters having made the trek, perhaps Wine Valley can make a run at the throne in 2014.
