Seattle City Courses Get Stylish Makeovers

Premier Golf, which manages Interbay, Jefferson Park, Jackson Park and West Seattle, has been busy this past year improving and modernizing its four Seattle-area operations.
“We finished work on the driving range at Jefferson and remodeled the banquet halls at both Jefferson and West Seattle,” says company president Bill Schickler. “We added a new retractable patio awning at Interbay. A new irrigation system was installed at Jackson Park to prevent often parched summer fairways. And the bunkers at West Seattle which we restored last summer (see page 40) are really beginning to settle nicely.”
Interbay, Jefferson Park and West Seattle have added instructors to their staffs, new range balls have arrived at Interbay and Jefferson and each course will offer its usual lineup of discounts and specials. At Jackson Park, female golfers can play 18 holes with a cart on Mondays between June and September for just $19.95 in their “Chicks with Sticks” promotion. At West Seattle’s “Early Bird 18” any weekday before 7:30 am, $30 will buy you 18 holes, half a cart and a breakfast sandwich (visit premiergc.com or seattlegolf.com for more specials.)
Membership to the Premier Golf Club loyalty program is now free and standard green fees at the three 18-hole courses haven’t changed since last year, $28 during the week and $33 on the weekend. Tee times can be booked 14 days in advance at (206) 838-4653.
