Boeing Classic

Denis Watson, 2007 Boeing Classic ChampionAfter a year to recuperate from last year’s PGA record-breaking finish, scenic TPC Snoqualmie Ridge will once again welcome back 78 Champions Tour stars for a week of outstanding golf at the Boeing Classic, Aug. 22-24. The only PGA Tour stop in the Puget Sound area provided one of the most memorable finishes in Tour history in 2007, with seven players finishing tied for the lead to force the largest playoff ever in a PGA Tour-sanctioned event. Denis Watson finally brought an end to the drama on the second playoff hole, winning the lion’s share of the $1.6 million total purse and a place in PGA Tour history. In just three years of existence, the Boeing Classic has become one of the Tour’s leading venues in attendance and charitable giving, having raised over $2 million for The Heart Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center.
