Rules, Requirements and Restrictions
Standard USGA rules will govern all play except where local rules apply. Local Rules will be posted on the individual tournament pages.
- The tournament is played in two person teams.
- Each team member must have an active handicap. Players that fail to provide us with this info will not be eligible for prizes. Handicap will be given to Courses so that they can adjust your handicap to the course handicap.
- Each two person-team will submit one scorecard, total scores will be confirmed by the Golf Course.
- Teams will be randomly paired with another team. Each team will then need to verify, sign and attest to the accuracy of the other teams scorecard before turning it in to the Pro Shop. Once a scorecard is turned in, no changes will be accepted.
- Once cards have been scored and results have been tabulated by the Golf Course there will be no changes or new scorecards accepted. No exceptions.
- Handicaps are checked upon entry and confirmed prior to the tournament. If there is a noticeable difference in your handicap and it appears to have been manipulated the tournament reserves the right to refuse your entry. No sandbaggers! The Cascade Golfer Cup reserves the right to adjust your handicap if it appears to be less than 100% honest.
- The tournaments are shotgun starts, this means you will tee off simultaneously from different holes. The hole from which you start from will be determined by the tournament.
- Players are allowed to use Distance Measuring Devices & handheld GPS units.
- Cheating leads to automatic disqualification. No exceptions!
