Golf Etiquette:
Need to brush up on your golf etiquette? Check out the PGA site for more information. Here are some basics to remember:
- Replace all divots. Repair all bar marks.
- Rake sand traps.
- Leave the putting green as soon as you have holed out
- Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range
- Make sure to place an identifying mark on your ball
- From the time you select your club until you actually hit the ball should take no more than 30 – 45 seconds
- Don’t step in your fellow players putting line
- Don’t make any noise when your fellow player is preparing to putt
- Place all litter in trash containers.
- Have fun!
Don’t forget:
- Proper golf attire is required. No short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or jeans. **Course specific dress code information on tournament pages.
- Cellular Phone or pagers must be turned off or on silent while on the golf course.
